This was breakfast most days, Nam showed us how to make them and they are really easy to put together.
Avocado on toast with either smoked salmon or ham. Buy really ripe avocados, that have a blackish brown hue and are soft to the touch. Half them, discard the seed inside and scoop out the green flesh. They come out easily with no mess at all. Add a little butter, lime, pepper and salt to the avocado and mash it all up with a fork. Then spread it generously onto a well toasted bread, add a slice of smoked salmon or ham, add sliced eggs and then sprinkle feta cheese over it. That’s it, so simple yet tastes amazing.

After walking around the library, sat down at the cafe and this slice of homemade chocolate and hazelnut cake tasted really good. The lady at the cafe was extremely charming and helpful, we couldn’t understand the menu which was in French and she didn’t speak English. so with actions and with the help of google she was translating and explaining stuff to us very patiently.
This is some goat cheese fried in batter and served with salad… I remember this, she was google translating something and showed us that it was goat cheese.
Then we took a bus to Carouge, a small place in Geneva with Italian vibes, in fact it is referred to as small Italy…

Stopped by the church for a visit…
Came across an Italian guy selling fresh ravioli, so picked up different types of ravioli from here… ham and cheese, salmon ravioli, mushroom ravioli, and so on. Then we got into a conversation, he said he was from Italy, and has never been to India. Then we asked him about beautiful places to visit nearby and he wrote down a few places for us to check out.. and Chexbres was top of the list.
And a gelato is mandatory when you’re in
Carouge..
The ravioli that we bought, cooked it in water for a few minutes and it was ready…
For our dinner… all the different raviolis with some lamb chops…
