One of my favourite Oprah shows used to be the home make over stories, I loved watching how they would tear down a place (which wasn’t really that bad to begin with) and turn it into something stunning with gorgeous furniture and luxurious drapes. I think anything can look better if you just drape some flowy rich material somewhere near it. I remember Nate Berkus was in charge of the home makeovers on Oprah and he sure knew how to spruce up a place… I liked his blend of earthy and neutral tones, it lent a great deal of elegance and grace to the place. Wonder why they don’t air Oprah these days… anyway, I just thought of giving you a glimpse into my home…

As soon as I saw this, I knew I had to buy it… was reading it in the shop and laughing away, its a list of things you’ve learned from FRIENDS, like ‘Always say the right name at the altar’ or ‘If stung by a jellyfish, pee on it’ or ‘Only in prison do they CUP whilst measuring for pants’ or ‘Throwing your own wake is not a good way to meet women’.

Now someone is quite proud of showing their home. Hmmmm. Loved your place. The new look of your blog is so very refreshing and new. Liked it as well. The B & W bedspread is so very lovely. Shall I drop in someday, dear Karen?

Oh Susan, you can drop in anytime though don't be surprised if the pictures don't match… the house isn't usually this clean and the pictures here are taken from two homes (the one I grew up in and the one I live in now). And in the bedroom picture, you see a little table by the side with a laptop on it, that's where I am sitting right now and typing this.
