And nobody was named Fred….

There was a Hugo and a Rosie… but no Fred. Oh well, it’s over… that is more than enough.

So finally the Harry Potter series has come to an end. And I did read all the books… but somehwere between the third and the fourth book, all the success went to her (Rowling’s) head and she started churning out lousy sequels. I mean the first book was really nice, stuck to important stuff… and did not ramble on unnecessarily. I liked the third book the best, cause of Sirius… I thought he was the most amazing character, he was portrayed as this handsome reckless and brave guy, rugged looking but great looking, kinda like Aragon in the movie, “Lord of the rings” or Oded Fehr in “The Mummy Series”. So it was only natural that I stopped watching the Harry potter movies, after I saw who they had cast to play the role of Sirius Black, some demented looking guy. Just look at the pictures!!!

Anyway, this last book was just too much… there was too much of everythin. It was kinda like the movies Sivaji and Spiderman 3, where everythin was blown out of proportion. The only thing I really found interesting in the book was the escape of the seven potter’s… that was a brilliant idea.
So, ending in the words of my sister Nameeta….
“im going to write the countinuing series of harry potter… and in the first chapter of the first book harry potter will die.. his own children will kill him for having such a pathetic life!! “

  1. hey i liek harry potter! the readson she was rambling was cause this is the last book of the series, so she’s gotta tie up the loose ends. or else ull blame her for writing a complete book.

oh by the wat, have u guys watched idian idol? theres a guy who looks like a mix of harrry potter and cho chang. and his name is CHANG!!!

  2. I found the book a bit strange too. I mean, it wasn’t bad but the ending, come on!! Gitu read the ending first and thought that Harry’s parents and Dumbledore were back because of the stupid kids’ names!! haha

  3. Unlike Jude, the mahatma, anju and purple heart… I never wanted to read that book…Right from the start somehow this hp series has never grown on me….

  4. Unlike honey bee, i was talking about reading jk nameeta’s book, not rowling’s.

I’ve only read the first book btw. Are the others better?

  5. if i write the continuing series then i’ll have to add intials too just like J.K.Rowling.the K in her name was is her grandmothers name. then i’ll be N.V.R.Carol or N.V.R.Caroling 😛

  6. hey candice, there was an article about Harry Potter in the newspapers, did you read that? It goes on to say that harry became on auror, hermoine joined some “rights for the lesser creatures” movement, stuff like that. The world was a nice bright and happier place after the death of Lord Voldemort.

Oh yeah megh’s, nam showed me that chinese looking guy on TV once, he is undeniably cute!!!

Anju, it was okay, but I wouldn’t be able to read it all again and Gitu’s funny…

Saj, have you been to town hall often?

Honeybee, its not that bad… it is in fact really interesting, except when it begins to drag at a few places.

Chronic Writer, aren’t you the one who commented somewhere about daniel stripping for a show…

    Nam, calm down….

  7. Hey Karen….Thanks…
