The little things in life…

My folks are after me to buy jewellery…. so went to this place and found a few nice stuff. The others were just too ugly, I can’t seem to understand how people can actually pay money for them and wear them in public. Well, to each his own…

Went to a shop to buy some things and met these 10th standard boys there. They had come to buy a chair (the one the boy is sitting on) for their class teacher after the teacher kicked them out of his classroom for breaking his chair. And they bought this really really old faded chair for him. I told them to get something nice since they were paying for it. They said, “For that school, this chair is more than enough.”That’s Priyanka and Sally making mango rasam, mango juice, mango chutney with the one mango they managed to get from somewhere.

  1. {hugs} so that days leading up to the d day are not as painful as jewellery shopping..

    awwww!!

  2. judging from the size of the vessels those girls are using, i’m sure they can make much more with that one mango than those three dishes….lol and hey jewelerry shopping isnt that bad after all eh? at least you managed to get something you like…next time try and get white gold k…loks prettier…especially since your fair!

  3. You should bring your mom and come to Madras and shop for jewelry! You can find delicate and not so loud ones!
Some people wear hideous ones simply because they’re more noticeable, I suppose. We will never understand it.
Do you walk around everywhere with a camera? you’re like a tourist which is cool in a way!
