Decided what to do with the sibing’s when they turn up tomorrow. We don’t want them to get bored, at the same time we want the whole thing to be useful. Hopefully tomorrow’s session will be an interactive one. It’s gonna be a real drag if the kids are gonna be all quiet and proper.
For anybody wondering what this is all about ….I work with mentally challenged children in a school. Tomorrow the siblings of these children have been asked to come to school. We want to tell them how to care for their brothers or sisters. They should know that in the future they are the ones who will care for their special brother or sister, and they should make an effort to understand their gestures and needs. They should strive to teach their brother/sister to be independent in their day to day activities. They should include him in games and the general banter that goes on between friends … these kids need to be accepted and their social skills should be developed gradually….
