A few creative souls from the life-drawing community wanted to do something for India in her time of crisis, so they put together a marathon life-drawing session (an eight hour session with models from various parts of the globe), ‘Helping India Breathe’, and the entire proceeds went to foundations that have been working to provide oxygen and free food to the affected regions. I was constantly amazed by how for a five minute or a ten minute pose the many artists at this event drew such quick and pretty sketches with proper shadows, water colours and what not. The talent was pretty insane and it was fun looking at each other’s work.
