So my father and his cousin were on a video call yesterday and they were discussing a wedding in the family and how it is impossible for everyone to meet up unless there’s a wedding, but thanks to the virus, even that is not possible cause the numbers have to be limited. And then they started discussing health issues and turns out both are diabetic, so his cousin sister was like, I eat Ration Puttu, it is very good for sugar problem. And my father was like, what do you eat? And she says, Ration puttu again and this goes on for sometime. The word ration puttu was mentioned many times… my dad trying to figure out what it was and she probably thinking my dad couldn’t hear her clear enough. Finally my dad said, show me what it is and she shows him a ‘Passion Fruit’.
Passion Fruit was pronounced ration puttu; the whole conversation cracked me up…
