It was a Sunday when Jude arrived, so after picking him up at the airport we went to
church…

After church we went to this place, Vicolo 39 located in Carouge, for brunch…

The weather was so nice, took out my book for a little sketching… by the way, how cute is this book from limndesigns.
My plate with some really good pasta, tuna roll, and ham puffs… so while taking the food, the Italian guy at the counter was asking us whether we were Hindus, and I replied no, we are Christians. Later, my brother told me that they weren’t asking about your religion, they were asking whether we were from India, cause they probably know/read that Indians don’t eat meat/beef. Anyway, everyone over there was really friendly…

Raclette dinner with vegetables and cold cuts… that is the raclette machine in between.
Slabs of raclette cheese are placed in spooned groves and on the marble slab vegetables and meat are kept warm.

And that was our lazy Sunday in Geneva before the crazy three weeks that followed. We had planned to drive to Paris the next day, and spend the week after that in Italy, and the third week in Spain. Tickets were really cheap on easyjet and that’s how we decided to visit these countries.
